What we do
We read card terms and conditions, we model reward math, we compare the numbers across issuers, and we publish what we find. Our goal is to help you evaluate cards more clearly, not to tell you which one to get.
What we do not do
- We are not registered as a financial advisor, distributor, or broker under any Indian regulator (SEBI, IRDAI, RBI).
- We do not receive commissions, affiliate fees, or any other payment from card issuers for ranking, reviewing, or linking to their cards. Rankings are based purely on card data. (If this changes in the future we will disclose it clearly on this page and on every card detail page.)
- We do not process applications, hold accounts, or access your financial data.
- We do not give tax advice. The tax treatment of credit card rewards is a specialist topic. Consult a chartered accountant for your specific situation.
Calculator estimates
Our reward calculators assume reasonable defaults (e.g. a spending split across categories) to produce a number. That number is an estimate, not a guarantee. Actual rewards depend on your real spending, how the bank applies caps and exclusions in practice, and whether the bank changes rules between the time we captured them and the time you earn rewards.
Accuracy and timeliness
We update pages as we find changes. Banks change fees, caps, reward rates, and benefit structures without notice. Before you apply for any card, open the issuer's official page(we link to it from every card detail page) and confirm the current terms match what we have published. If they do not, the bank's page is authoritative. We'd like to hear about it so we can update.
You make the decision
Whether to apply for a credit card is your decision. It depends on your income, credit score, spending pattern, existing cards, tax bracket, and plenty of factors we cannot see. Use WhichWise to inform that decision, not to replace your own judgment or a conversation with a qualified professional.
