Our editorial take on this card
What works
The 10X tier hits where entry-tier online shoppers actually spend: food delivery (Swiggy, Dominos), fashion (Myntra, Tata Cliq), travel booking (Cleartrip, Yatra), movies (BookMyShow), pharmacy (Apollo 24x7, Netmeds), and gifting (IGP, Gyftr). At 10 points per Rs.100 valued at Rs.0.25 each, that is 2.5% net, with no spend ceiling on the 10X tier itself - the 10,000-point monthly cap only applies to the 5X 'all other online' bucket. The Rs.499 + GST sticker (~Rs.589 total) is one of the cheapest 10X cards on the Indian market - HDFC MoneyBack Plus matches the fee (Rs.500) but only gives 10X on 5 partners (Amazon, Flipkart, Swiggy, Reliance Smart Bazaar, BigBasket). Hit Rs.1 lakh of annual online spend and you earn a Rs.2,000 e-voucher; cross Rs.2 lakh and a second Rs.2,000 voucher is issued - Rs.4,000/year in face-value Cleartrip/Yatra travel vouchers stacked on top of the points -- closed-loop e-vouchers redeemable only on those two platforms, so discount them mentally if your travel booking lives elsewhere (MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, ixigo) since brand vouchers carry redemption friction unlike statement credits. The same Rs.1L of annual spend also triggers a full fee waiver, so the card effectively pays for itself at any reasonable usage. A 1% fuel surcharge waiver on transactions between Rs.500 and Rs.3,000 is included as a small cherry.
Six categories earn ZERO Reward Points: fuel, rent (discontinued April 2024), wallet loads, EMI/Flexipay conversions, government payments (discontinued June 2024), and digital gaming merchants (discontinued December 2024). Route rent or wallet top-ups through this card and that spend earns nothing. Amazon and Flipkart are NOT on the 10X partner list - both fall under the 5X 'all other online' bucket (1.25%), where Amazon Pay ICICI's 5% on Amazon and Flipkart Axis Bank's 5% on Flipkart each pay 4x more. The 5X tier is capped at 10,000 points/calendar month, so non-partner online spend beyond about Rs.2 lakh/month drops to the 0.25% base rate. Offline shopping - restaurants, supermarkets, petrol pumps, any physical store - earns only 1 RP per Rs.100 (0.25%), so this is strictly an online weapon. The fuel surcharge waiver is a 1% saving, not a reward - fuel itself earns 0 points. Forex markup is 3.5% (the SBI Card default; the AURUM/Elite/Tata Neu Infinity/Miles family carves out to 1.99-3%, but SimplyCLICK does not). No lounge access, no travel insurance, no concierge - this is a shopping card, not a lifestyle card.
Bottom line
If your online cart is regularly stocked with Swiggy, Myntra, Cleartrip, BookMyShow, Yatra, Dominos, or Tata Cliq orders, SimplyCLICK delivers 2.5% on those brands plus Rs.4,000 in travel vouchers a year for under Rs.600 - and breaks even (full fee waiver) at just Rs.1L of annual spend. It is the wrong card for Amazon, Flipkart, offline, fuel, rent, or international spending, so plan to pair it with a free everyday card and treat SimplyCLICK as a specialist.

Who Is This Card For?
Salaried users spending Rs.8,000-Rs.15,000/month online whose typical basket leans on Swiggy, Myntra, Cleartrip, Yatra, BookMyShow, Tata Cliq, or Dominos. Also a sensible companion card for an Amazon Pay ICICI holder - cover Amazon at 5% on ICICI and use SimplyCLICK for the brands where Amazon's card pays only 1%.
Amazon-first shoppers (Amazon Pay ICICI gives 5% lifetime free), Flipkart-first shoppers (Flipkart Axis gives 5% on Flipkart), frequent international travellers (3.5% forex markup with no offsetting points), anyone who needs lounge access or travel insurance (consider HDFC Regalia Gold or step up within SBI to Prime/Elite), and users whose monthly card spend is predominantly offline.

Value Verdict
Eligible spend · no routingEstimated annual value at ₹50,000/month spend with base earn on eligible retail (after assumed 18% in excluded categories) on a 50/50 online/offline channel mix.
✓ Fee waived above ₹8,333/month, so all ₹3,690 is net value
Year 1 also carries a one-time ₹499 + 18% GST joining fee (~₹589), charged upfront on issuance and not waivable by spend. The net above reflects the renewal-year fee (which your spend waives); subtract the joining fee from year-1 value.
First year bonus: +₹400 welcome value (not included above)
Assumptions used in this estimate▸
- • Reward earnings shown at the conservative redemption tier (vouchers / statement credit).
- • Monthly reward cap of ₹2,500 applies to the card; spend above this earns nothing extra.
- • Assumes 18% of your spend lands in 6 excluded categories (fuel, rent, etc.) that earn ₹0: eligible spend used in the math above is ₹41,000/month.
